1/19/2024 0 Comments Office christmas episodes redditI didn't enjoy the show making us think that Robert was manipulating Erin into getting drunk so he could fuck her. I didn't like Erin getting drunk and telling Andy she wished his girlfriend was dead. Most of the jokes around her amount to Meredith wants to have sex and that is gross. The office has an intervention about her drinking. This episodes plot revolves around Phyllis blackmailing Angela with this fact, then everyone in the office besides Andy learning this. I'm just not a huge fan of Angela and Andy dating while she sleeps with Dwight storyline. There is nothing bad about this episode, but there are no standout or super memorable moments either. Michael becomes hurt and petchulant Jesus when Phillyis uslurps his role as Santa, which was pretty funny. One of the best post Michael episodes.Ī solid, but unspectacular Christmas episode. Dwight rushing up to hug Jim and give him a high five when he returns to the party is heartwarming. I love this episode because it does such a great job showing how much they enjoy eachother, and how their relationship has truly morphed into one of a family. Enthusiastic Dwight is the best.īy this point in the series Dwight and Jim are more brothers than rivals. I always love when Dwight gets excited about something. Have you been impish or admirable? Dwight takes over Christmas and we are introduced to Belshinkle. We also find out Dwight has a wig for every person on the office. He is able to unnerve Jim and terrorize him with snowballs, and it is glorious. I appreciate them giving Dwight the rare win against Jim in this episode. The love and care they have for eachother is evident. Pam comforting and giving Michael hope about Holly is one of the best. There are a ton of touching Pam and Michael moments throughout the series. You can really connect to the hurt and pain that Michael acutely feels when he learns that Holly is still dating AJ. I love when Holly and Michael instantly dork out together upon her arrival. Him telling Jim about this towards the end of the episode is one of my favorite Michael and Jim moments in the whole series.Ĭhristmas is kicked up a notch when Michael hears Holly is returning due to Toby's jury duty. Michael marking his "girlfriend's" arm to tell her and her friend apart is hilarious. I especially enjoyed Kevin and Angela's turn at the mic. Great karaoke moments by much of the cast. It is touching when they make peace with Angela in the spirit of Christmas. The rival Christmas parties is a fun B plot. I enjoy seeing Pam and Karen bonding as they team up against Angela. The double click at the end always kills me. Michael replaying the 30 second preview of Goodbye my Lover by James Blunt is gold. This episode is full of heart and hilarious character moments. It's Christmas and Michael is on the rebound. Nothing hits quite like season two of The Office. Asking if 15 bottles of vodka is enough to get 20 people plastered. Apologizing to Jesus for his birthday being so lame. Michael is hilarious in all his cringey glory. The tea pot with the bonus gifts inside is truly iconic. In my opinion the greatest Christmas episode in television history. R/television's favorite shows of all time (2022 edition) >!Spoiler!!Television!< becomes Television Links
